The Peoria Speedway has released it’s 2015 Schedule, highlighted with the 1st Annual Fall Classic, September 18th and 19th, which pays UMP Modifieds $10,050 to win on their Saturday Night Feature, also UMP Late Models are on tap for $2,000 to win each night. Hornets, and Crate/E-Modifieds also have special purses, giving the Hornet winner $250 each night, and the Crate/E-Modified Feature winner $500 each night. Steel Block Late Models also have a $500 to win feature on Friday Night.
Friday night, there will be overnight camping, a live band, a bonfire/cookout, and the beer tent will be open until 1:00 a.m.!
Other notable races are the Don Bohlander Tribute UMP Late Model race on April 11th, which pays $5,000 to the winner of the Late Model feature. The Gary Cook Jr. Memorial, paying $2,064 to the UMP Modified winner on April 25th. UMP Summer Nationals will be held on Tuesday, June 23rd, Paying $5,000 to the Late Model winner, and also $1,500 to the Modified Feature winner. The end of the year 100 lap State Championship for Late Models will be October 3rd, paying $5,000 to the winner of the Late Model Feature.
New to the schedule this year, the Firecracker 40, Being held on July 3rd and paying $2,000 to the UMP Late Model feature winner, and also a fireworks display at the races. A special on Wednesday, July 25th that is still to be determined. And the Monster Truck Night of Thrills and Fire Spectacular, which will be on Saturday, July 25th.
